Warranty Policy and Related Information
Extreme PC warrants to the original purchaser that any part of the hardware system excluding software, documentation and similar items will be free of defects in workmanship and materials for the warranty period selected in our configurator on the date of purchase. During the warranty period, Extreme PC will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, the defective part with the same or equivalent part as listed on the customer's original receipt in the event of a hardware related defect in materials or workmanship, free of charge for labor and parts for the first year from the date of purchase. The replaced or repaired part comes with the remaining warranty period only. Any other part replacement that is different from the original configuration must be purchased at cost. After one year of the purchase date, all Items that need to be returned for repair will have to be sent directly to the manufacturer of the product.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. The original purchase receipt will be required before warranty performance is rendered. The warranty only covers hardware failures due to defects in materials or workmanship which occur during normal use. This warranty does not cover damage which occurs during transport/shipment. Under no circumstances does this warranty cover software-related problems of any type or nature. This warranty does not cover problems related to, or caused by, the installation of any hardware item(s) after the date of the original purchase. This warranty does not cover problems related to accident, impacts, flood, fire, wind, lightning or similar disaster, inadequate or excessive electrical power surges, or other power irregularities; spilled liquids, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, alteration, modification, any service by anyone other then Extreme PC personnel.
Extreme PC shall, under no circumstances, be liable for any other damages, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential and other similar claims whether based upon breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, absolute or strict liability, or any other similar theories. Damages excluded include but are not limited to: loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of use of the hardware system, loss of use of related equipment, cost of substitute or replacement equipment, "down-time", purchaser's time, injury to property, and all claims of third parties.
Items such as monitors & printers are covered directly under manufacturer warranty, and it is the responsibility of the customer to follow their instructions. Please refer to the enclosed warranty card with this product. However if such item fails within 14 days of purchase, then Extreme PC will replace it directly.
