On average your custom system is ready for pickup or delivery in three (3) business days. The Extreme PC configurator technology was designed from ground up to be extremely user friendly yet very powerful. It allows an average person with limited computer knowledge to make the necessary adjustments to our pre-defined configurations to match their hardware requirements or budget.
The Customer can change all aspects of their new computer and the system quote changes in real time as they these changes are made by the user. On top of that, the customer can press the green double arrow button located right beside the quoted system price on the vertical scroller to see all their components visually - this functionality only works with IE 5.5 or higher at this point.
Each system subcomponent has a “View” button beside it. If clicked, the actual per component cost is shown. If a customer wishes to purchase this item separately he/she can go back to the main store section of the website and buy that item for that exact price. Also each item on the Extreme PC website has a very detailed information about it along with accurate, actual physical image of that item. We don’t show “for display purposes only” images unlike the competition. We show an ACTUAL image of the hardware that will arrive at your doorstep. 12 Hour Burn In Process
Quality Control is paramount to us as we understand that a faulty computing experience can be very frustrating. Extreme PC is dedicated to provide you with a 100% bug free system upon pick-up or delivery. In order to have this guarantee we put every system through a 12 hour “test burn” process. During this “test burn,” your system is put through a rigorous workload in order to insure that your everyday computer use is as flawless as possible. Should a software or hardware failure occur during testing, the faulty component(s) will be replaced and the “test burn” will be restarted.
Real Copy Of Microsoft Windows
As an Extreme PC customer you have a choice of buying your Windows Operating System software from us. However if you already own a copy of Windows or some other operating system of your choice, you can just click off that option in the configurator and save yourself some serious money. Unlike the other guys, we provide you with the option to choose whether or not you’d like an Operating System at time of purchase and we don’t make you buy it if you don’t want it. However, if you choose to purchase the Operating System, you will receive a copy of Windows with every system which includes your own CD-Key and user license.
